Review: ADWEEK June 6,2022

Posted on 10 June 20228 November 2022 By earlp

I have to admit up front that I am not a HUGE fan of AdWeek as I feel that it tends to be purely focussed on Online, TV, Print and Outdoor advertising (very little is ever covered on radio), but sometimes an issue hits the stands that makes you say, yes – they get it.

This issue’s highlights included the ‘Insights’ section (one of my favourite ‘must reads’ every issue) as is the ‘Data Points’ article, which co-insides with this issues Pride cover story with data on the LGBTQ+ community.

Next highlight for me, was the author – James Paterson article/reminiscing about his days in advertising (as a Paterson fan it was an interesting – if ever so brief insight into his story).

The PRIDE STARS profiles was a great read too, and being part of an industry that is so diverse made this an inspiring read.

And that’s it. Like I said, personally, I am not a big fan of AdWeek, but I do read every issue and sometimes get some really good take-aways from it, and this was one of those issues.

I am in no-way affiliated with AdWeek Magazine and receive no incentives to conduct this independent review.
