Todd Stach has shared the 2 part – 4 ideas- and it’s good advice for anyone on-air… (the links will take you to the AllAccess.com website)

“In this two-part series you can be inspired to approach your on-air shift differently and even consider some blind spots that you may be unaware of. Just like when an actor memorizes lines for a movie, you must know your lines well enough to share with the listener…share being the keyword. Reading from liner/promo scripts is a form of voice acting, and it shouldn’t sound like you’re reading. Preparation and voice acting are vital skills to master.”

It is well worth reading both parts (under 2 mins each) and I am sure that even if you are a seasoned on-air jock – you will get something from Todd’s post.
But if you feel like you would like to impart some of your own knowledge about show prep – then please let me know – I’d love to hear your ideas about your show prep, from research to vocal warm ups to on-air tips.
