A very, very comprehensive article by Daniel Johnson and LTC James Machado appeared on Task and Purpose about the failure of the US Army to attract new members this year – and lack of radio and television marketing forms part of that. The article also serves to show that a comprehensive ‘hard look’ at your tactics and endeavours are well worth the effort to constructively criticise, and access what it is you do, and to form a plan to do it better in the future.

India’s Best Media Info site did an in-depth story (by Tanzila Shaikh) about The art of copywriting: What makes an impactful ad copy? In it Tanzila interviewed some very big names in copywriting in India and I have to say I really enjoyed the article, there were an amazing number of take-aways and notes I wrote down from the interviews.

Host Ken Matthews was dropped by Talk Media Network on Friday. An affiliate tipped RADIO INK off that the show was being pulled. Then Ken posted an audio clip to YouTube explaining what happened.
