At the end of the month, I will be launching another book, specifically for those of us Copywriters who also work in promotions.
Sounds intriguing right? Right?
But what is it?
This time the book is for those of us who are specifically involved with station imaging and branding.
The book covers everything from how to research your core listening audience and their demographics through to how to create slogans, tag lines, and positioning statements for any type of radio station – with a giant list of over 1,300 ideas from radio stations around the world.
I have to admit – this book has been sitting around on my hard drive for a number of years – in various forms as I wasn’t sure how to release it in a format that would be useful for people.
That was until I showed it to another copywriter, and they suggested that I follow the same sort of format I had for the ‘Hooks, First Lines and Scene Setters‘ book – and they were right – I didn’t have to re-invent the wheel, instead I needed to update some of the information, then change some formatting
and then run it past my editors and proof people.
Which is where I am at now – so the countdown is on – come the end of February 2023, you will have access to the new book – here is a sneak peek of the front cover:
