Feb 13 was World Radio Day – and honestly – this year is slipped past my radar without making a single blip. I didn’t have anyone at work comment on it and didn’t see anything online about it, until the next day… that’s a bit sad.
But in good news: On the occasion of World Radio Day on Monday, National People’s Power Assembly President Esteban Lazo congratulated all radio workers in Cuba, and the power of radio.
And also a great story by Dr Farika Mohan Nahak on Radio and Peace for World Radio Day on the Counter Current website.
Plus Associated Press of Pakistan recalls a special visit to Radio Pakistan on ‘World Radio Day’.
