Inside Radio did a fascinating piece on the Oscars… After Oscars’ Red Carpet Was Folded, Survey Finds Radio Kept Awards Talk Going. This was VERY interesting from an on-air perspective.
Australia’s national broadcaster – the ABC – has hired Consultants in Response To Falling Radio Numbers, the story by SOFIA GERAGHTY via the B&T website is an interesting read – as the national broadcaster here is often seen at the bottom of the ratings in every city across the country – so it will be interesting to see what happens in the future.
What is a podcast? This is the question being posted on the Radio Info site – Is catch-up radio a podcast? I would say personally – no – but it is an interesting read and opinion piece by Peter Saxon.
